About The Position

As a Security Officer Bilingual Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a financial institution, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm activity and access control systems, and support timely responses to incidents. You will maintain clear documentation, communicate with personnel and visitors, and help promote a welcoming, secure environment. Requirements

  • Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, access-related notifications, and service requests from a central dispatch point.
  • Receive, document, prioritize, and communicate incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Monitor camera systems and other security-related technology, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
