About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Professional supporting a chemical and petrochemical location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, dispatch resources, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, document security-related incidents, and collaborate with site personnel and responders. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate dispatch communications systems to receive, document, prioritize, and relay routine requests, incidents, alarms, and critical information to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor site activity, access points, communication channels, and available cameras or alarm systems, and report unusual conditions according to site-specific procedures.
  • Coordinate patrol assignments and support field personnel by maintaining clear communications and accurate activity logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications to designated site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
