About The Position

As a Security Officer Bilingual Dispatch Communications in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional supporting a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor security-related activity, and dispatch personnel to support timely responses. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, access activity, and other communications from the dispatch center; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate the response to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with on-site personnel, management, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, activity records, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support regular and random patrol activities by dispatching personnel, tracking check-ins, and reporting unusual conditions or service requests to appropriate staff.
