About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer Bike Patrol to support a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer conducts visible bike patrols, monitors assigned areas, helps deter security-related incidents, and provides professional customer service to tenants, visitors, delivery personnel, and the public. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The role involves teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, caring approach to maintaining a welcoming environment.

The position is full-time and pays $25.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to ride a bike.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, delivery personnel, and the public while following site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property entrances, common areas, sidewalks, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, assist with visitor directions, and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; contact emergency services and/or site representatives as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence.
