About The Position

As a Full Time Unarmed Bike Patrol Security Officer in University City, Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients on a leading university’s campus. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine bike patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with students, staff, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Ability to ride a bike.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, residence areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events, following established campus protocols.
Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, verifying authorized entry, and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal supervision, campus representatives, and emergency responders as needed.
