As a Security Officer - Bike Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, while assisting employees, visitors, and members of the public with directions and general information.
  • Support security-related operations by preparing reports, communicating with site personnel and/or first responders, and following post orders and local procedures.
