About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping or delivery documentation as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records.
Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries at designated gates or receiving areas in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
