As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Fort Smith, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to document security-related information, communicate concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-control records.
  • Screen and direct vendors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures, including coordination of entry requirements for restricted production and warehouse areas.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report unusual activity through established security-related channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, parking areas, business spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access.
