About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Clinton, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing visitor and employee access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and control access to facilities, production areas, and restricted spaces by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, issuing access badges or passes, and communicating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting relevant details.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, complete incident reports, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding access activity, observations, and policy violations.
