As a Security Officer Badge Review in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and/or following security-related policies for a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Monitor visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic at entry points, document arrivals and departures, and/or help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, docks, and other restricted areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that should be reported through established security-related channels.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by controlling access to designated areas, following post orders for vehicle and pedestrian entry, and/or maintaining accurate logs and incident reports.
