Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter, with attention to changing conditions in indoor and outdoor locations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors, and report unusual activity, equipment issues, and other security-related concerns according to site policies.
