Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, monitoring access points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Verify identification, credentials, and visitor information before granting entry, and direct employees, guests, and vendors according to location protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems to help identify unusual activity and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, lobbies, and perimeter access points as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
