As a Security Officer Badge Check Driver in Weiner, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as a driving Access Control professional. In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access by employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Screen visitors, maintain required logs and records, issue temporary badges or passes when applicable, and communicate entry requirements clearly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
