As a Security Officer Unarmed Badge Check in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access points, receive and relay information, and assist with foot traffic, deliveries, and/or guest inquiries in accordance with location expectations.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders for retail-related incidents.
