Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of Military Police, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security experience, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and site personnel by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity that could help to deter unwanted behavior.
