As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol in Auburndale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post orders.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, roadways, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or visitor activity to help support controlled entry and compliance with location protocols.
Support law enforcement, first responders, and/or site personnel during emergencies, disturbances, and special situations while maintaining professional communication and presence.
