Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating security-related concerns according to location procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, office spaces, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within a financial institution location, verifying credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, while maintaining clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
