Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a residential community location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving and armed post offers the opportunity to support residents and guests through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a reliable, people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities while assigned to an armed patrol post.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local authorities and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to address access concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
