As a Security Officer Armed Response in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and requests for assistance.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
