As a Security Officer Armed Reception Desk in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help address security-related concerns. This armed position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative culture while working with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a financial institution by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Monitor access to the facility, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Observe lobby and entrance activity, report unusual conditions or prohibited activity, and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity logs and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
