As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government correctional facilities, buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site requirements, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.
