As a Security Officer Armed Driver Perimeter Patrol in Windsor, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and/or other authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed, and document visitor activity, incidents, observations, and/or required reports accurately.
Maintain awareness of the correctional environment, communicate relevant information with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, and follow all applicable firearms, equipment, and post-order requirements.
