About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer to support a manufacturing and industrial location in Nampa, Idaho. The officer conducts armed patrols, maintains a visible security presence, monitors access points, responds to concerns and incidents, and provides customer service and communication. The role requires an armed guard card or license and emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Maintain reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, inspections, and security concerns.
