You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This role requires an armed guard card/license and a concealed carry weapons permit or law enforcement officer license. Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Possess a law enforcement officer license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, transit-related areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate emergency responders and site representatives.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
