Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with attention to access control and high-value areas.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations at the location.
Support assigned cash handling, opening and closing, and/or escort-related duties as directed by site procedures, while maintaining professional interaction with staff and the public.
