Requirements

• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and/or contractor interactions while following post orders and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following all armed post protocols, training requirements, and Allied Universal standards.
