As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Ocoee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transportation headquarters, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access and security-related activity, and respond professionally to concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a reliable team. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a government transportation administration location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Maintain an armed presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verify authorized entry, document incidents and observations, and complete required reports accurately and promptly.
