As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable site protocols and armed post procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, access control, and directions while maintaining a professional, courteous presence in a healthcare environment.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
