As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers the opportunity to demonstrate integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care for people every day.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas of the facility.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.
