As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or armed security experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to location procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
