As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Role in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, controlled access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor movement and access throughout the location, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document unusual activity, incidents, and/or observations in required reports.
• Maintain readiness to perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, site procedures, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
