About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Role in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support access control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Assist with order maintenance by observing inmate, visitor, and staff movement, communicating noteworthy concerns, and following established post orders and response protocols.
