Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access and movement throughout the location, report unusual activity, and document incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Support staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by following established protocols, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and communicating clearly during routine operations and/or emergencies.
