As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Role in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support daily operations with strong communication and customer service while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and support first responders and site leadership during emergencies or other security-related events.
