As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to help to deter potential incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the location.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while carrying a firearm as part of assigned duties.
