As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This position requires both armed responsibilities and driving duties, offering a dynamic environment where teamwork, reliability, and integrity are valued every day. $3,000 sign-on bonus for eligible, fully armed applicants! Position Type: Part Time, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts on this account Pay Rate: $24.74 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Requirements

Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Interact with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public in a courteous and helpful manner, providing assistance as required.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or requests for assistance in accordance with established procedures.
Carry and properly handle authorized equipment, including firearms, in compliance with all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.
