As an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. This post requires a valid armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license, supporting mobile patrol coverage and rapid response. Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access at gates, docks, and/or interior checkpoints by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor and contractor entry, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, maintain required logs, and follow all armed post requirements including proper equipment handling, storage, and documentation per site policy and Allied Universal guidelines.
