About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must have a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed for incident response.
Follow all protocols for the handling and carrying of assigned firearms and adhere to all relevant regulations and company policies.
