About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service through strong communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting and documenting incidents according to Allied Universal procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or prohibited actions within the location.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary during incidents or emergencies.
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
