Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role is both armed and driving, offering you the opportunity to interact with site personnel, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to a secure environment. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
Document and report observations, incidents, and any unusual activities encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as needed in response to security-related situations.
Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential security-related threats.
