This is an armed, driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state and an armed guard card or license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or dispatch to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and receiving areas, checking credentials, verifying deliveries, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with on-site personnel, and contacting local emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed reports for incidents, patrol findings, and maintenance hazards, and communicate security-related updates to supervisors and/or client representatives.
