As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover assigned areas and complete detailed reports. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Carry and handle an authorized firearm in accordance with all licensing requirements, Allied Universal policy, and post orders, including compliant weapon storage and required documentation.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
• Complete detailed incident reports and patrol logs, using provided systems to communicate observations, hazards, and follow-up actions to management.
