As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures while carrying out security-related tasks.
Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any suspicious behavior.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats or unwanted activity within the location.
Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements for carrying and handling firearms while on duty.
