Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized movement, and report policy violations, contraband concerns, or suspicious behavior through established channels.
• Carry authorized equipment and follow post orders, use of force guidelines, and reporting procedures while supporting order and professionalism in a controlled access environment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
