Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and screen visitors, staff, and/or vehicles in accordance with site protocols, verifying credentials and reporting access concerns.
Support public-facing operations by assisting with directions, maintaining a visible presence, and following post orders for security-related enforcement and incident response.
