Our armed officers at a busy retail location monitor and patrol assigned areas by vehicle and on foot, helping to deter incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns such as theft, trespassing, and disorderly conduct, and report findings according to post procedures.
• Support opening, closing, and high-traffic operations by observing customer flow, checking restricted areas, and assisting with security-related responses during busy business periods and/or special events.
