As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Bryan, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and reliability in a dynamic setting.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations.
Work with site leadership, employees, visitors, and/or local responders during emergencies, medical events, alarms, and other security-related situations.
