Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will stay visible, respond to site needs with agility and reliability, and work with integrity and teamwork while carrying a concealed weapon permit.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out assigned procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of roadways, facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor site activity, document observations and/or incidents, and communicate with supervisors, public contacts, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters and operational concerns.
  • Support access control, vehicle checks, and/or restricted area monitoring while following all applicable armed post procedures, reporting requirements, and site instructions.
