Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, and incident records; report discrepancies, unauthorized access attempts, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to access-control incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
