As a Security Officer Armed Officer Patrol in Kissimmee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements, using sound judgment during routine assignments and/or emergency situations.
